New NSW Covid Restrictions May 7, 2021 A range of restrictions have been reintroduced in NSW after 2 community COVID-19 cases have arisen in the past 48 hours. Restrictions came into effect yesterday at 5pm across Greater Sydney, including Wollongong, Central Coast, and Blue Mountains. Restrictions will be in place at least until 12am Monday May 10. Current restrictions include: Face masks are now compulsory at public indoor venues, including public transport, supermarkets, retail stores, healthcare centres and for hospitality workers No more than 20 visitors to households No singing or dancing at indoor venues, including places of worship and entertainment venues. Weddings exempt. People must be seated whilst drinking at public venues Stay safe Sydney.
